"HyperWaste" is a research project on the paradox of materiality in new media. Investigate the materials with which the project was created, the abandoned web sites and the "psychological materialism" of things.
The first performance of "hyperwaste: world of warcraft and new materialism" is about a walk, a virtual 2 hours walk throught the lands of the virtual world as opposed to a walk with material effort. psychological materialism is also present in the way we use the waste of walking in performance
The second performance of "hyperwaste: world of warcraft and new materialism" is about a paradox or material redundancy, of how all the materials that make up the universe of the mmorpg are virtually extracted, reappearing the idea of psychological materialism
